When we were in Japan, we went into a pet store ‘just because’ and we saw teeny weeny little hedgehogs!!  So sweet!  I really want one, but we don’t have them as pets in Australia - or in the wild.  We have Echidnas which are also kinda cute, but not as cute as hedgehogs imo.  So I guess I’ll just have to make myself one instead!  :)

This is one for the knitters found over at Knitty.com.  Quite a complex pattern, this is Rodekool by Nancy Marchant.  Rodekool means “Red cabbage” in Dutch.  This uses Brioche Knitting as a technique.  This is way too tricky for me at the moment, but I like the effect, so one day …
